Immigration and Family Law specialists - Signature Law is a partnership between Miss Sital Somaiya & Miss Charlotte Pugh, established in 2014.

The idea of opening a firm came about whilst sat in a local restaurant and from there, the plans evolved. Both partners have one main goal which is to provide the community with an exemplary service with a no-nonsense approach.

Sital Somaiya - Partner, Head of Family

Sital Somaiya

Sital qualified as a solicitor in May 2011 and specialises in family law. She has dealt with a wide range of cases such as; divorces, financial relief, appealing final orders in financial matters, injunctions, children matters, cohabitation, domestic violence and forced marriages. She also deals with Inheritance Act claims and applying to the Office of Public Guardian to register Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Sital’s main passion is Children Law and in particular has been involved in a variety of cases that include Child Abduction and public law cases.

Sital is accredited on the Law Society Children Panel and has been involved in cases where she has represented the children in proceedings issued by Social Services.

Sital also deals with Settlement Agreements (Compromise Agreements), Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Wills & Probate.

Charlotte Pugh - Partner, Head of Immigration

Charlotte Pugh

Charlotte has undertaken matters in the area of asylum, human rights, removal and deportation, detention, fast track, entry clearance, EEA, settlement and Nationality.

She holds a full Disclosure and Barring Service check, which allows her to work with unaccompanied asylum seeking children and has extensive experience working with a wide range of vulnerable clients including victims of trafficking and victims of domestic violence.

Charlotte also deals with Include Lasting Powers of Attorney, Deputyships and Wills & Probate.
