Sital Somaiya

Sital qualified as a solicitor in May 2011 and specialises extensively in Family Law. Over the years, Sital has dealt with a wide range of cases such as; divorces, financial relief including appealing final orders, forced marriages, cohabitation, domestic abuse and all aspects of children matters including care proceedings. Sital's main passion is Children Law and in particular has been involved in a variety of cases that include Child Abduction and public law cases.

• Sital is accredited on the Family Law Advanced Panel and supervises the Family Department.
• In addition to Family Law, Sital deals with the following:
• Complex public law proceedings involving interveners,
• Inheritance Act claims,
• Applying to the Office of Public Guardian to register Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Settlement Agreements (Compromise Agreements),
• Preparation of Wills

The service that Sital provides is unique in that often she can advise from behind the scenes whilst you can represent yourself or Sital can handle your case from start to finish. Given Sital’s experience, she provides a level of service that is cost effective. Sital can also speak Gujarati, Hindi and Urdu which means that she offers that personal touch that is needed in such a distressing time.

Sunny is an accomplished sales and business development professional with over 16 years of experience spanning digital media, events, and marketing solutions. His career history includes working for some of the leading media owners in the world, including:

• Informa PLC.

Sunny specialises in digital marketing strategy, demand generation and operations.

Sunny joined Signature Law in September 2023 and became a Director in September 2024. As a Co-Owner and Marketing & Operations Director at Signature Law Ltd, Sunny combines his strategic vision and operational expertise to drive growth and build meaningful client relationships. He has a proven track record of scaling businesses, having successfully contributed to expanding Signature Law from a two-person team to a thriving firm with multiple departments.

Sunny has a passion for leveraging the latest technology in legal services because it has the potential to revolutionise the industry by streamlining processes, enhancing accuracy, and making legal support more accessible and efficient for our clients.

Sadid Imam

Solicitor

Sadid qualified as a solicitor in April 2019. His expertise consists of, but is not limited to, matters encompassing a variety of:

• residential conveyancing transactions,
• real estate and
• wills, trusts and probate.

Sadid has been involved in dealing with the acquisition and disposal of residential and commercial properties across England as well as re-mortgaging, transfer of equity and right to buy transactions. He has also represented clients and lenders with the purchase and sale of properties under Islamic Finance and Sharia Law compliance.

Sadid values the importance of meeting clients’ needs and objectives. He has a practical, solution driven approach and believe in delivering a tailored and comprehensive legal service to each individual.

Sadid invariably embraces a forward-thinking approach to all matters to attain the best possible outcome for my clients. Synonymously, he always strives to progress matters to conclusion in a timely and efficient manner.

Sadid recently joined Signature Law as a Senior Solicitor in the Residential Conveyancing department, having previously worked at an established and prominent law firm based in London. He has a wealth of experience in dealing with an array of residential conveyancing transactions, acting for property investors, various individuals, first-time buyers, restauranteurs, limited company and corporate entity clients as well as financial institutions and well-known lender clients.

From joining Signature Law, almost immediately, Sadid has proven that he is a valuable member of the Conveyancing Team and is the Head of Conveyancing and Probate.

Melissa Alchin

Paralegal

Melissa joined Signature Law as a Paralegal in July 2024. Melissa obtained a Bachelors of Law degree in 2023 and has completed Part One of her Solicitors Qualifying Exam.

Throughout her degree, she covered a range of areas of Law and has taken part in work experience programmes. This included experience in:

• Conveyancing,
• Family Law,
• Wills and Powers of Attorney
• and other areas.

Over her legal career, Melissa has had a great deal of exposure working closely within Family Law, where she has had a wide range of experience including cases of Domestic Abuse, Child Arrangements Proceedings, Divorce and Finance and Care Proceedings.

Melissa wishes to develop her passion in Family Law particularly cases involving Domestic Abuse and Children such as Injunctions, Child Arrangements Proceedings and Care Proceedings. She aspires to qualify as a Solicitor in the near future.

Chetan Hottkar

Paralegal

Chetan joined Signature Law as a Conveyancing Paralegal in November 2024. He Specialises in Conveyancing and is currently pursuing the route to becoming a qualified Conveyancer, demonstrating his commitment to advancing his expertise in the field.

Chetan also holds a master’s degree in business administration, which enhances his ability to navigate the client service and administration. He has valuable experience in Residential Conveyancing.

Dedicated to delivering exceptional client service, Chetan strives to ensure a smooth and efficient property transaction process for every client.

Daniel Chun Kin Wong

Solicitor

Daniel qualified as a solicitor in 2003. Having experience of more than 20 years, Daniel has expertise in all aspects of residential property transactions acting for all types of sellers and buyers including first time buyers, homeowners and investors in both freehold and leasehold transactions including complex property issues. He also advises on properties being sold at auction for both sellers and buyers including providing advice on auction legal packs.

Daniel also acts for clients in all types of commercial properties including retail, restaurants, industrial premises, educational establishments and offices including commercial lease transactions for landlords and tenants.

Daniel's approach is to find the simplest solution to a complex matter and provide proactive and practical advice to achieve a resolution in the most efficient way possible.
